How to get rid of "white border/matte" on my GIF while retaining some of the transparent parts?

Hi all,

I animated this GIF over After Effects, I then exported it with AE and while it also had the transparent reflection that I had on the phone, the matte or borders were just too fuzzy for my liking, see GIF below:

mobile header.gif

What I tried to do then was import it to Photoshop and then try to export it as GIF, however I only have these two options right now that I know of:

Untitled-2.jpg

This is to be uploaded on a web page as a graphic so I would like to learn if there's any way I could retain most of the quality?

Thank you.

Although the following video shows how to use Photoshop to optimize the colors in an animated GIF made from an MP4 created elsewhere, you can start at 3:10 of the video where the video shows exporting that MP4 as an animated GIF in Photoshop and how to optimize the limited colors in the color table:

Modifying the colors in the color table might help.

Thanks and apologies for the late response but the video did not helped me at all but I did found out that it is simply just a limitation of the format which is GIF so the only other option for me is to turn it into a VP9 WebM.
