New Here ,
Jul 10, 2019 Jul 10, 2019

hi, i have a real problem with my photoshop 2019 ( last update) I work on some photo manipulation, and when I export my creation ( save for the web ) and I open it back in photoshop, all the colors are oversaturated... I can't resolve the problem, please someone can help me ?

the first photo, is my first export. and the next one is when I re-open this photo ( the precedent one, the first export), and you can see the saturation of the color... (like the hand) and I don't do anything new.

Always make sure to embed the color profile. For some reason, Save For Web and Export both strip the profile at default settings.

This is Save For Web. Use these settings marked in yellow:

That said, it's also important to always convert the file to sRGB for web, or for use in any application without color management support.

EDIT: cross post. Michael and I are saying the same thing.

Hi Julien,

Sorry to hear about the over saturated images. However, I am not able to see the saturation difference, have you tried viewing the exported image in any other application?

Also, please share Photoshop Help > System Info dialog text here, as it would be helpful for us to troubleshoot further.

You may also want to change the screen color profile to sRGB IEC61966-2.1 and see if it makes a difference.

When you export out your images are you embedding a colour profile? Also, when you export, are you converting to a different colour profile such as from Adobe RGB 1998 to sRGB? I'm thinking that the RGB Working Space in Photoshop might not be aligned with your exported images which could explain the changes when viewing the files. If reviewing this yourself doesn't help, perhaps post some screen shots of the following…

  • Color Settings (found in the Edit menu)
  • Assign Profile (found in the Edit menu)
  • Save for Web

I would also recommending using Export As as opposed to Save for Web (Legacy)

Thanks all of us for your help. Today the best solution working is when I save my picture for the web to put " embed color profile ".

But it still strange because on my last adobe version on my other computer I don't need to check this to have the good colors.
