Photoshop 2023 select and mask brushes not working

Ever since I updated to photoshop 2023, when I'm refining edges with the select and mask tool. Halfway through editing, the brushes will go away and turn into an arrow. There's no way to continue editing. I have to close out of the select and mask window and start again. Has anyone else experienced this?

Mask tools and options are not showing in Beta 25.1. After using "select subject", I'm unable to refine a mask and the normal mask tool options (radius, move edge, etc.) do not appear.

Preferences > Tools... and uncheck "Enable Flick Panning" and "Animated Zoom"...that worked for me

 I also am having that same problem for the last few days after uploading the lates Beta version.  No circle showing brush size just the arrow cursor. Brush appears normally when using tools outside select and mask but won;t show the cursle cursor even after re-starting Select and Mask or rebooting my machine and restarting PS. Just using my mouse as usual.  This is in addition to the failure of PS to open up files directly from LRC until an error message appears saying PS 2024 could not be started, then it opens the LRC file as documented elsewhere here.  Be nice to see both of these issues fixed as it does impact workflow considerably.  Thanks.

I meant "circle cursor" in my last comment (apart from other typos - need to slow down) (-;

Go to Preferences > Tools... and uncheck "Enable Flick Panning" and "Animated Zoom". Does the problem go away?

I'm having this issue also ever since the new update (for Photoshop Beta) two days ago. I've tried everything! Any ideas

Are you using a Wacom device when this happens?
