photoshop 2025, tried to bring in a photo from Mac Photos, got a question if I wanted to get access

In Photoshop 2025, I was trying to bring an image into photoshop from Photos on my mac.  Photoshop asked if I wanted to get access from  my my photos, I clicked on it, went to see Photos and all of my Photos are gone and the whole library of images are gone.  Help!

Is your usual process to get photos from Apple's Photos app to right-click on photo>edit with>Adobe Photoshop 2025?

(alternate path: Image>edit with>Adobe Photoshop 2025)

Then, Photoshop asked you if you wanted to allow (not get) access to your photos, right?

I can't imagine the accidental keystrokes necessary to delete your photos.

Did you look in the Library folder? The Recently Deleted folder? Trash?
