Saving file method is bad

Hi! I only want to know who is the genius that change the saving method. Un cs3 it was perfect and fast. Now, if i want to save the same file in Jpg and then in Psd, i have to repeat all procces for locate it and in pasd with the same name, is not enought to select kind of file : psd. I have to write .psd in the name of the file. If not ita was overwite the Jpg on psd in flat mode ( no layers). The idea of saving files or saving a copy is sloooowww.

The genius was Apple, then Adobe had to find a way to make it work again in Photoshop. Use Ged's instructions to make it work as it used to.

    By the way, have you tried File > Scripts > Script Events Manager > Photoshop Event : Save Document > Script : Save Extra JPEG or record action and enable Action then select action to play from drop down list. That should work if I can understand your problem.

     

    "I have to write .psd in the name of the file. " - No you don't, it will append psd automatically.
