I just bought a new computer with a lot more memory,  upgraded the processor ,  the rams,  everything is better.  BUT it had Windows 11 already installed on it.  Since I started working on my photos & I do a ' save as ' to save them in my files, so I can share them later on with my customers, I can no longer see the actual image, it's just a blue square with a white piece of paper in the middle & the image # is on the bottom. ( see below )  What the heck is this !!   I need to see the picture !!  Also when I click on it to open it up so I can look @ it,  it is asking me " Select an app to open the image "  Windows,  Notepad,  Media ,  and also Photoshop.  I know I'm saving the photos just like I have always done.

WHY is it doing this ?  It has never done this to me before, to say I'm frustrated is an understatement.  I'm about to pull my hair out & it just GREW BACK !!!   If someone knows why it is doing this & how I can fix it,  I would be so grateful   THANK YOU   THANK YOU

Hi @janiceb4, have you tried resetting your default apps for common Photoshop image file extensions (e.g., jpg, jpeg, tiff, png, gif, psd) through the Windows 11 Default Programs? Select Start > Settings > Apps > Default apps. More instructions here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/change-default-programs-in-windows-e5d82cad-17d1-c53b-3505-f10a32e1894d#ID0EDD=Windows_11. If that doesn't help, come back and let us know.

Hi   after trying to do this,  I've decided I've got to take my new computer & my old pc to my tech guy tomorrow ( hopefully ) tomorrow & let him move everything over to my new pc & take Windows 11 OFF !! I don't like it & would prefer going back to W-10.  I had much less trouble with it.  Thanks for your help !
