Hello, I hope someone can help me with this doubt that I have, when I press alt and release the key, the command is active, and to deactivate it I have to press it again.
How can I configure it so that it returns to normal, that it activates only while I have it pressed?

Try steps 1-4 on this doc: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/keyboard-shortcuts-stop-photoshop-mac.html

Step 5 is not applicable to current versions.

@J453Thanks, but is there anything I can do to fix it?

Most often times this is caused by another application, driver or system utility that's causing a conflict.

Hi, @jane-e  yes, I know how to use the alt key in photoshop, it happens that when I release the alt key the command is still active and only deactivates when I press it again, as if it were a click to turn on and another click to turn off.

Hi @Jesus Da Silva

In your first sentence you say that you are pressing and releasing the Alt key. In Windows, that is the shortcut to activate the menus, and has been since the days when Windows did not have icons and most PCs did not have a mouse.

To use the Alt key in Photoshop, do not release it as you press another key or perform a mouse action. Release the Alt key last in the sequence.

that's window's users problem.

can't help it because of the shortcut method of accessing the manual by ringing alt in the window. If you press it several times in a short period of time and within a second, you can't feel it well if you're a regular user. The general user doesn't feel comfortable, but the only way to solve this problem is to use a third-party program, which has been inconvenient for quite a long time. Personally, I use the Apssistant.

When using Photoshop, the Alt key prevents the menu bar from being activated.

you can google it
