The End of The F***ing World Color Grading

I really enjoy the contrast and color of the series The End of The F***ing World. Do anyone know how to achieve that type of feel by either configuration in the camera or post-editing in editing software e.g. Photoshop? Thanks.

I think you need to post a picture showing us the color gradients you're aiming for.  I don't watch the show so I have no context to go by.

My apologies. Here are a few snapshots: (all credit goes to Channel 4 and Netflix)

Sorry for not being able to describe the setting I am going for. It is moody and heavily emphasize on the dark tones; the colour is faded, muted, and closer to green-bluish background but it does not entirely rips out the mild orange tone that skin (,or the fire in the first photo) naturally has. Thanks.

OK.  Use adjustment layers and Photo Filters.  Use Blend If and/or Masks as required.   See video below.
