I just updated to 24.2 and suddenly my razor and rolling edit keys are not working, and not displaying. Had to roll back to 24.1 in order to get them back. I haven't had time to investigate whatever else isn't working; that was enough.

A bit more info on closed Tools panel resulting in Tools shortcuts not working in Timeline, this fix can be verified in 24.4 beta build 006+. Hope this helps.
We're sorry about the poor experience. We're investigating a similar issue. Please open the Tools panel (Window > Tools) before using the Tools shortcuts & check if it's working properly. Let us know if it helps.

Ever since the latest Premiere Pro update, I've encountered this bizarre bug where about 70% of my keyboard shortcuts decide to not work unless I open the "Tools" panel. I usually keep that panel closed because, well, I've got my shortcuts memorized like a pro, and it's never been an issue before. Any comrades in this bug struggle, or better yet, any genius solutions floating around?
Thanks for filing the bug. As @Ann Bens states, the issue has been fixed in Beta. I hope the bug fix will be released in an upcoming version of Premiere Pro. I appreciate you taking the time to file this bug. Take care.
