4 localized audio tracks, split track audio in Premiere

split track audio names.png

Hi, I've figured out how to get 4 tracks of localized audio to be selectable in a player, but I cannot figure out how to get the names of the audio tracks to carry through to the player.

The audio filenames are ENG, ES, JA, BR_PT, and their metadata tile matches.

Imported those to Premiere, did not drag n drop

Audio tracks in the timeline and in the audio track mixer are named the same

I've tried this a few times in the past, this is the furthest I've gotten with it, and it works -- just cannot figure out how to get the names to carry through to the player.

Any suggestions/ideas?

Hey Scott,

Thanks for the question. In Premiere Pro, while you can name audio tracks in the timeline and mixer for your own editing clarity, those names do not automatically carry through or display as track names in media players or final exports. Sorry about that. Let me know if you have any further questions.

Take Care,

Kevin

Thanks Kevin! Any idea what I need to change or do differently to get those track names to carry over to the player? From what I've seen, the players use "Apple sound media handler" when they can't find another title....I just don't know where else to place the titles
