Add space between hundreds of clips that are back to back

I have about 2 hundred clips all back to back and need about 10 seconds of space between each one. I can't think of any creative way to do this all at once. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Spaces wont be equal when clips have different duration.

Select clips, right click and open Speed/Duration and set it to 50.

Select again and set Speed to 100.

This will cause the clips to get trimmed.

hugio55​ Follow these steps:

1- Preference --> Timeline --> Still image default duration --> set how many seconds of gap you want to have between clips

2- Right click on Project panel --> New item --> black Video

3- Double click on the black video to open in source monitor

4- Activate your timeline, make sure both V1 are toggled on: "Toggle the track targeting for this track" and "Source patching for inserts and overwrites" (Check screenshot attached.)

5- Press the Down key to go to the next edit point on the timeline and press comma "," to insert the black video between clips. the clips will be pushed. Repeat: "Down arrow" "comma" until you have black videos between all your clips.

6- Delete the black video from the project panel, Agree on the warning message.

No it will not; forgot to mention to set Ripple edit when setting it to 50 and unchecking when setting it back to 100.

The speed/duration trick is quick-and-dirty and this black video insert method is neat-and-clean—but still pretty quick! I use both, which one is best depends on the situation.

I found both these methods helpful but chose the black video option once i saw it was easy to do. I think it suits my current need better because i may need to create gaps of differnt lengths and having a placeholder video there that i can manipulate seems like the way to go but in the future I'm sure i will utilize the other method as well.
