Without a lot more info, I've no clue how to help.

OS/CPU/RAM/GPU/vRAM, the type of media you're working with, and any effects you may have used.

Or, is this on a first time trying to use the program? We need to understand what you're doing, and what's happened.

Sorry for not clarifying, the error reads: Adobe Premier Pro CC 2017.0 has stopped working.

the error appears as as the introductory window loads causing me to be unable to use the program. I had Premier Pro working with the same error message but with photo shop and my friend had to change the name of a file to get Photo Shop to work and now premier pro has the message and I'm not  good at this stuff, obviously.

So answer the questions posed above. Operating system and CPU plus RAM and GPU plus media and any effects.

That's not got a lot of capability there for an NLE like PrPro. Limited graphics capability, slow processor speed, very little RAM. If PrPro can function on that, at all, it's amazing.

So PrPro was was working at all at some point?
