I also have this problem, but only with premiere Pro, this problem has carried over from the last version, I haven't been able to open it ever. It always crashes.
I'm getting rather annoyed at the fact that this issue has been going on for nearly ten years and still hasn't been fixed, but money is still rolling out of my account every month.

Just for test, Please create a new Administrator account in Windows & test Premiere Pro.
Try the steps followed by the users in the following forums, if possible.

Hi Creatoroblivion,
Please update the Graphics card driver to latest version, Reboot the machine & Launch Premiere Pro.
Update the graphics driver | Windows 8, 7, Vista
If issue persists, just for test, Turn off Firewall & Antivirus & Launch Premiere Pro.

Graphics is on the latest update (Nvidia 375.70)
I turned off the firewall and antivirus, The program still crashes.

Seems like creating a second Admin user worked.
Does anyone know the reason behind it not working for one user for for a new one?
I'm happy with the solution and will inform this thread of any issues.

I figured it out, go to your appdata, roaming local, everything and delete everything you can find in folders titled premiere. Do the same in My documents. and voila.
