Audio volume copy paste problem

So here's the thing. In the latest premiere update, 24.5, I cant copy the audio volume and paste the attributes to all my others audio clips, which helps me maintain the same volume for all my clips. In the case of audio effects, all pastes well. Any suggestions?

This effects my workflow substancially as I am no longer able to simply copy Volume levels and paste across multiple tracks. 

It adds a new Volume, leaving t he orginial unaffected. Almost like a Double Volume effect.

Rather than copy and paste the effect in the Effect Controls, copy the clip in the timeline, and then Edit > Paste Attributes to the other clips.

I was just showing the error of the multiple volume in the effects panel.

To be clear, this is exactly what is not working for people. It used to work in previous versions, and even worked in the most recent update for awhile.

And then one day, copying and pasting audio atrributes no longer worked for some of us. Rebooting Premiere or the OS solves nothing.

This is a bug, not user error.

Same issue here... Used to work, doesnt work anymore. Just copying *Volume* and pasting it to the next audio clip does not paste the setting anymore.

I'm facing the same issue after updating Premiere Pro. When I copy and paste audio effect attributes, they appear to be applied, but there's no audible change during playback. However, if I drag and drop the same effect directly from the Effects panel onto the first clip, it works as expected. The problem only occurs on the clips where the effect is applied via 'Paste Attributes'—those effects don’t seem to function.

Make sure when copying the audio, only select the audio part of the clip, not the entire clip.

Then Paste Attributes will appear in the dropdown.

Yes I know but OP just wants audio volume. And I copied from the ECP and not the timeline (which I forgot to mention).

Same issue here as well.   A workaround I found  is to adjust the clip volume in the effect control panel for the source clip, any amount, after which you can paste attribute volume to other clips.

What happens when you copy the clip in the timeline, and then Edit > Paste Attributes to the other clips?

Nothing. The levels on the clips that you're pasting to do not change.

Try using keyboard shortcuts instead:

1. Select the clip and press Cmd/Ctrl + C to copy.
2. Select all the clips you want to apply the volume settings to.
3. Press Alt/Opt + Cmd/Ctrl + V to paste attributes.
4. In the Paste Attributes window, ensure Volume is checked before confirming.

I've always used keyboard shorcuts. I copy and paste audio all the time (or I used to) so I have keys mapped on my keyboard for pasting and removing attributes. And of course "volume" is checked in the paste attributes window.

I've been doing this for years, I know all about pasting attributes. This is not user error.

This is now happening to me in version 25.1.0. I was able to do this earlier today, and now it's not working. I'm working on a Macbook Pro OS 15.1. The pinned reply is not a solution as I am already doing that.

That's the version I'm using as well, and my experience has been the same. It worked normally for awhile and then stopped. Very frustrating.
