I'm trying to export an MXF (OP1a) file using XDCAM HD422 codec.
I've tried on new timelines and set everything to stereo but whenever
I check the render it says that the rendered file is dual mono. I've even set up
entirely new projects with just one Stereo wav file in and again it
says that the file is dual mono when I've exported
This is the spec that I'm trying to work to:
Video
MXF(OP1a)
XDCAM HD422
1920x1080
16:9
25fps
Upper Field First
50 Mbps
4:2:2
12(M=3,N=12)
Audio
PCM (Little Endian)
2(1 channel per audio stream)
48 kHz
16/24 bits
Can anyone help?

Did you get a reply to this?
I'm trying to export as an MXFOP1a with 2 stereo pairs but I can't seem to do it.
If I mark 4 channels as the output I get 4 mono channels.
If I mark 2 channels as the output I get 2 tracks of stereo but then I don't get stereo on tracks 3+4 like I need

Hi there,
I'm having the same problem - anyone have a solution to this one? Australian broadcast specs require a stereo file, not dual mono... Very frustrating

Same problem here. IMD is rejecting my XDCAMHD TVC even though the audio mix from the sound-post company is fedinitely stereo. They are saying the audio is mono and too low. Very frustrating. My sound guy spoke to a colleague who said this is a common problem with Premiere. I just want to fix it so I can get the ads to air.
