CC2017 Locks Up

I upgraded to CC2017 and every time I try to open an project created in Premiere CC 2015 it locks up with about 95% of the status bar in Save Project window filled.  Will not go past that.  I hit cancel and then Premiere is not responding.

Mac OS X El Capitan 10.11.6

Hi Hrbabb,

Create a new project in Premiere Pro CC 2017, Import the project file(.Prproj) created in CC 2015 into it using File > Import & save the project file.
