Dear Adobe Customer Service Support Representative and Adobe User Community,
I am using Windows 7 and Adobe CS6 Encore.
I am trying to create a New Project in Encore, but I am receiving the following errors:
Adobe Encore has encountered an error
src\AMEPPresetProber.ccp-267
"An input contract violation has occurred!'
Please help!

I've never had that error, so the only thing I can suggest is below...
Run as Administrator http://forums.adobe.com/thread/969395 to assign FULL Windows permissions may help (this is NOT the same as using an Administrator account)

Dear John,
Thank you for your advice and quick response.
I did try to run as Administrator,
but it did not help
I will provide more information regarding the issue
I can open Encore.
The window will open with two options
New Project and Open Project.
When I click on New Project, the window will open asking to enter the
project name.
After I am entering the Project Name and clicking on “OK” button, I am
receiving the following error message:
Adobe Encore has encountered an error
src\AMEPPresetProber.ccp-267

There are a variety of PresetProber errors with various numbers (yours being 267).
None of the threads on the PresetProber errors has a solution other than a reinstall.
It does not hurt to take a few steps first:
Make sure there is no disk in your drive.
If you are trying to open the new project as Blu-ray, try DVD.
Clear the cache and reset preferences. See steps 10 and 12 in this link:
Troubleshoot damaged projects in Encore on Windows
If you uninstall, be sure to use the Adobe cleaner:
Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems

Dear Stan,
Thank you for your help and quick response.
As per your advise, I cleared cache, reset preferences,
selected create Blur Ray DVD, and was able to create a
project.
I tried to create Blue Ray disk using different methods:
I imported asset created as H264.Blue_Ray and Audio
format Dolby and PCM
Also, I imported asset created as MPEG2 Blue_Ray and
Audio format Dolby and PCM
Also, by linking to Adobe Premiere Pro Sequence
I am receiving the following error messages:
Errorloading transcode preset
Error loading transcode preset Internal/NTSC Dolby
Digital
Error loading transcode preset Internal/NTSC PCM
\AuthorContextHandlerImpl.cpp-515
I am trying to resolve the issues without re-install
Please advise on how to resolve above errors.
I have Encore as a part of Adobe Creative Suite.
Can I re-install Encore only?
Can you provide instructions?
Thank you in advance for your help.
Kindest regards

No, you must reinstall PR CS6, and with it Encore.
With your errors, I would go to the reinstall.
See this post for an explanation of what may have happened and an idea what to pursue if you cannot reinstall.
For example, if you had deleted one of the presets, you could copy it from an installation of Encore on a different computer and replace where you deleted it.
Also, if you are trying to open an old project, any preset it used must be present. If you create a new project, you can only create it if you use a preset that is present in the folder he specifies.
But that is not your only error, so I suspect a reinstall is your only fix.

What version of Premiere Pro are you using to dynamically link into Encore with please?
If it is the current CC2017 then it ain't likely to work.
Try creating your new project again, and this time forget all about dynamic link - ignore it.
Create all your assets in the spec form you need for your disc (you said you were using Blu-ray).
So feed it H.264 video, PCM stereo audio & AC3 surround if you must (personally I think AC3 has no place on a Blu-ray disc at all) - I would use DTS but Encore only sees this in passthrough mode (no previews) but this is not a dealbreaker as you should never trust a preview anyway - all it is really good for is checking menu appearance & navigational function and all tests should be done on a set top player and not in a computer for best compatibility.
To get this, feed Encore only the right formatted assets as elementary streams, and do not use it's editing functions if at all avoidable.
If you change a playlist in any way asset wise delete it from Encore & create a new one with a different name instead. This prevents a lot of possible project corruptions as it takes them out of the picture completely.
Never use anything except alphanumeric characters in a file name. No spaces but instead use _ and then just numbers and letters.
This will help.
I think you are getting the error because of a Dolby Digital Encoder incompatibility - Encore had a consumer level one, Premiere Pro CS6 had the same consumer one with a surCode add-on for sale and CC2017 has the good one built right in so if the Encore is using an older AME internally then it will be trying to reference a version of the encoder you probably don't have the preset for as it is no longer there. Reinstalling might well fix this, as Stan says - but if you already have CC2017 installed then why bother using dynamic linking with all it's potential for misfire when you can instead render out all your assets from CC2017 & use Encore as an assembly tool & not an all-in-one encoder and editor? CC2017 has far better encoders than CS6 does so take advantage of them!
