When the direct manipulation option is enabled, during playback, when I select a clip, the playback stops. When I turn this option off it doesn't happen.
The problem is that this option cannot be turned off permanently, after some time it turns on randomly.
Is there an option to completely disable the direct manipulation option so that it never turns on again if I don't want it?
If not, will adobe fix this option to not stop playback when playing back clips or simply make the option turn on only when playback is turned off
Hey Tom_edit,
I see you already left a comment on this bug report. Did you upvote it as well?
I upvoted and will bring it up with our designers. Mine stops playback as well, even after resetting preferences. I'm sure they have a reason they made that choice of function, but I can at least try to find an answer for you!

Not seeing this on my system.
Might want to reset preferences.

It's not a preferences issue, it's how it currently works and has been brought up a few times before.
