I'm trying to establish a Dynamic link to After Effects. Premiere Pro CC is not recognizing Ae (I get an error message that reads: Adobe After Effects must be installed to import this file) when I right click on a clip and choose "Replace with After Effects composition". In fact, I have Ae already up and running! I am running a Mac Pro with OS 10.13.6.
No, the problem was the permissions weren’t set right for Ae and PrPro. An adept Adobe Tech helped me troubleshoot the issue.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling After Effects. Make sure all apps are up to date.
