Encore will burn to disc but not make an iso

I have been making movies in Premiere Pro CC for a long time, from which I output media to blue-ray and author in Encore.  I usually output a blue-ray image (iso) from Encore.  For some reason, Encore now does not give me the option to make the iso file, the only option available is burn to disc.  The burn to "image" option is visible, but grayed-out and not selectable.  Anyone know why this happened, or how I can get back the burn to image option to make ththe iso file?  Thanks for any advice!  Mandy

I don't recall this issue previously. Select bluray, then image is an option. But yours is greyed out, correct? The common problem is image is selected, but "build" is greyed out because no path is defined.

The only cause I can think of is, for Windows, not running "as administrator," and for Mac, a permission issue somewhere in the chain.

Mac or Windows, and exactly which version of the operating system... and have you recently updated your operating system?

Either of these is likely and both will have the same effect.........unless a recent Windows 10 update or Mac OS update has broken stuff (as happens all too often)
