FIXED: Export issue for H.264 and HEVC with Premiere Pro 23.1

This issue has been fixed in Premiere Pro version 23.2.  Please update to get the fix.

We have identified a file name issue affecting H.264 and HEVC/H.265 exports on Windows with Premiere Pro 23.1

The issue impacts H.264 and HEVC/H.265 exports to folders with names that use double-byte characters, such as Chinese, Japanese, Korean, or extended ASCII characters, like accents and umlauts. Affected users will see this message: File importer detected an inconsistency in the file structure of %filename.mp4%. Reading and writing this file’s metadata (XMP) has been disabled.

If you are experiencing this issue, use one of these options:

• Please update to version 23.2 where the issue is fixed
• The following workarounds are for 23.1
  • Choose an export destination folder that uses only single-byte ASCII English characters (no accents, umlauts, etc.)
  • Export to a different format, such as Apple ProRes.
  • For H.264 exports only: disable hardware-accelerated encoding.

Désinstallez et installer Premiere Pro 23. J'ai eu le même problème.

Ne mettez pas d'accent ou de caractère spécial dans le nom de l'export.

Pour l'instant, ça remarche chez moi. On croise les doigts.

Gros bug chez Adobe.

La última versión que exporta bien es la 23.0

Si has actualizado a alguna de las posteriores debes desinstalar la que tienes y volver a instalar esa.

Con eso soluciones el problema de exportación.

Also, make sure that you have enough free space available on your drives.

XMP-Daten konnten nicht in Ausgabedatei geschrieben werden.

I have a problem - i cannot Render MP4 on desktop,

When i Export MOV file it renders perfectly, when i Export MP4 with resolution under 1000px it renders perfectly, when i change location to other Disk Drive or use same C disk but Documents or Downloads it Renders perfectly.

If i choose desktop or folder on desktop it will crash. 

I don't know how to explane more simply, Renders on Disk Drive - F but crashs on Desktop )) but if you change resolution or file type it will render on desktop too ))

Media Chache is cleared and 280GB Free space on disk.

I don't know what to do, googled & youtubed 99% ))

why does rendering save a 24-bit file that cannot be opened? there is plenty of disk space, if you turn on the toggle switch with metadata, an error occurs with XMP

Hej,

Have been working with Premiere pro and same project for 3 months and yesterday after updates I got an error on my exports: Could not write XMP data in output file

Could this be a bug in Premiere Pro update?

To exclude typical issue for this error:
1.I have plenty of disk space 

2. I have cleaned all cache
3. Nothing changed in the setup or file type I worked with, unless some Santas Elfs came to mess with my files and used magic. 
4. Always used Software Encoding and still do


Interesting fact here is that I can render(export) files when using VBR. 1 pass but also not always, 1 out of 5 times it still gives the same error. 

I am running out of ootions here everything people have suggested did not work or were not even an issue to begin with.

¡Hola!

Estoy intentando exportar un video desde premiere, al finalizar me marca el siguiente error: "El importador de archivos ha detectado una incoherencia en la estructura del archivo de "nombre del archivo".mp4. Se ha deshabilitado la lectura y escritura de los metadatos de este archivo (XMP)".

Revise en la preferencias y tiene la lectura y escritura de metadatos activa, además de tener espacio de sobra en el disco duro; intenté exportar desde Media Encoder y me sale el mismo error, además de probar exportando proyectos antiguos que no presentaban la falla y lo mismo.

Hallo,

ich brauche dringend Hilfe. Beim exportieren einer Datei in Adobe Premiere oder über den Media Encoder bekomme ich ständig diese Fehlermeldung:

 "Der Datei-Importer hat eine Unregelmäßigkeit in der Dateistruktur von [Dateiname] entdeckt. Das lesen und überschreiben der Metadaten (XMP) dieser Datei wurde deaktiviert."

Es entsteht zwar eine Datei, diese kann jedoch nicht geöffnet werden und ist beschädigt. Laut mehrere Stimmen soll das Problem wohl an fehlendem Speicherplatz liegen. Dies kann aber bei mir unmöglich der Fall sein, da ich auf allen meinen angeschlossenen Festplatte noch zwischen 500GB und 2TB freien Speicher besitze. 

Die 5TB Festplatte mit 2TB freiem Speicher ist die auf der ich hauptsächlich arbeite. Bis gestern funktionierte alles ohne Probleme. Jetzt kommt beim Exportieren jedoch ständig die Fehlermeldung. Wähle ich beim Export jedoch eine meiner anderen Festplatten aus, funktioniert es plötzlich, obwohl diese viel weniger Speicherplatz besitzt. Wie kann das sein!? Ich bin komplett ratlos und hoffe, dass mir jemand weiterhelfen kann.
