How do I recover my Adobe Story files?

So I've been using Adobe Story since 2015, but never used the online version except for maybe once a year. Just today I decided to sign out and back again to sync my files, only to find that I couldn't log back in. Of course, I then searched up the error message and found that Story had reached its end of service. I now have many hours of work locked away in an online lockbox I fail to fully comprehend. I reached out to AdobeStory-Support@adobe.com, but still await a response, so for now I'm just trying to get as many answers as I can. Does anyone know of any possible way to recover any of the files, or is all hope lost? Any help is very much appreciated.

-Thanks

This reply is just an update to my query which has been answered by the Adobe Support team, so if anyone had the same problem as me I thought I'd repeat what was instructed to me.

"To recover files from the Desktop application, please try the following steps:

1. Close Story’s Desktop application if it is already running.

2. Now please make sure that your computer is not connected to internet (probably disable wifi or something similar to achieve that)

3. Open Story’s desktop application

4. Click on

3. Open Story’s desktop application

4. Click on sign-in button. It will show an offline sign-in dialog.

5. Enter your offline sign-in credential and you should be able to sign-in in offline mode.

6. Once signed-in, you can reconnect to internet.

7. Now you can export your documents to PDF through the File > Export As option

I would not recommend to use these steps to keep using the Desktop application for long.

Please do move away to another scriptwriting solution of your choice."

Big thanks to the support team for answering my question 3 months after the end of service date.
