Enthusiast ,

Dear community, when i try to syncronize v1 and v2, the v1 always move to v2, is it possible to make v1 stay at position?

Screenshot before syncronize :

Screenshot after syncronize :

Look, the v1 always go to v2 position, is it possible to make v1 stay at position so v2 will follow v1? thanks

Thanks @R Neil Haugen , actually blue clip and teal clip are multicam. They are same scene with different angle. Unfortunately blue clip has really bad audio.

The solusion is doing multicam nest for these two clip first and then insert to the project.

When syncronizin between clip , the CLIP THAT HAS BAD AUDIO will move and sort to THE CLIP THAT HAS GOOD AUDIO.

I think it will adjust to the clip that is first. Shorten the v1 clip so that it starts after the v2 clip.

I think it might be related to which clip you select first

what happens when you flip the track order so that they are on the other track and visa versa?

thanks @chrisw44157881 , i think flip track order is not a solution. the problem is below :

abc.jpg

Look, i have blue track that i want to syncronize audio with teal track. Blue track (v1) should be stayed at its place, not move anymore. But when i try to syncronize audio, the blue track (v1) move and follow teal track (v3).

Thanks.

I have read that posting.

There was a forum thread not so long ago on this. If I remember correctly it moves the track which is earliest and makes it later

Your audio and video are 'linked' ... so when the audio moves, the video moves also. Right-click the video or audio for the blue V1 clip, select "Unlink".

Then the blue V1/A1 audio and video can move separately.

The only thing I can puzzle out from your descripions is you want the audio of the blue track to move, but not the video ... is that correct?

Because if so, you need to unlink the blue clip's audio and video from each other. Linked video and audion cannot be moved separately.

Random thought:

What happens if you lock the V1 track?
