I am using Premiere Pro CC 2019 abd am loading a project that I was editing about a week ago.
The problem is that the images that the video was linked to then have been moved to a different hard drive. I link them all back up, but about a dozen images will keep giving me an "import failure" error with no explanation as to why. I load the image intgo Photoshop and re-save them and Premiere still gives me the error.
Even when I save them under new filenames, I get he same result. The supposedly missing resourse are both jpg files as well as png files.
Ideas?
OK, what I finally did was accept what images it allowed and put the ones it did not like into the exact same path that it was expecting. It is working fine now.

Rename them to the original file names, but move them to a different folder.

I moved the image to a new folder while leaving the file name intact and I still get the same problem.

Try creating a new project and import the old project into it.

Hi there,
Sorry to hear that you are facing this issue. Please try to import those image files in a new project and check if you are still getting the error. In case you are getting the error then try to install the previous version of Premiere Pro and check if it's working properly in that.
Let us know, we're here to help.
Thanks,
Sumeet
