Hi one and all,

I'm currently working on a big project with a lot of interviews. I regularly fast forward through the interviews when reviewing. I have the latest version of PP and a brand new MBP and I'm having issues reviewing the interviews in fast forward which is really frustrating.

The issue is when fast forward (LL) is activated the audio is glitching and even at times makes weird beeping sounds or completely freaks out.

I'm not sure if this is a hardware or software issue but either way it's very disappointing and frustrating because of the dint in my workflow.

Can anybody help???

Thanks

Thanks for replying Sam. I've taken some screen shots. If you require anything else please let me know, It's weird because my old work computer had none of these issues and this system supersedes the old one.

Where do you have the clip located? Is it sat on an external drive? If so, what is the connection from the external drive?

It is a pretty large 4K file. Generally, for rough cuts, it would be advisable to create a proxy to allow you to work through the footage quickly.

If you haven't explored this before, the proxy workflow can be explored here: Adobe Premiere Pro Help | Ingest and Proxy Workflow in Adobe Premiere Pro
