I have several projects I was working on in the previous version of PP.  After the upgrade, every single MP4 and M4V now shows as Media Offline.  They were working perfectly fine in the previous version.  Were there codecs removed in this version?

It is generally recommended to finish a project in the version it was created. You can try creating a new project and import the old one into it.

OK, what's the easiest way to uninstall the upgrade and go back to the older one?  I have several months worth of work in the old one, and several more months to go.

I have been having the same exact problems, so I tried your suggestion of clearing the cache files and then importing the old project into a new one.  The result was the same.  I still have sequence after sequence of offline clips, and I need to export them out to complete the project.
