Mic is working, but I cannot record on premier pro

Hi,

I have a snowball mic and I have never had an issue recording a voice over on premier pro.

Tonight I went to record a voice over and the mic never activated the mics in the tracks for me to click on to record.

I have gone through numerous forums and have checked my preference and audio hardware and nothing has changed.

the mic works fine and I can here my voice fine, its just premier pro wont allow me to record.

Ill place some screen shots below that show my current settings.

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I just reset to factory preferences and it still wont allow me to record.

Did you resently have a windows update?

Go to Windows Settings/System/Sound/App volume and device preferencses and check the mic.

I think I have had an update since I last used the mic in premiere.

I have also checked the mic in app and devices preferences and all seems to be fine.
