I could be wrong about it being a bug but everytime I go to watch my video in premiere pro the video will play for like a second then pause on its own and bug out the rest of the time to the point where i cant even edit anymore i've tryed all the steps like clearing the cache, turning down the memory as low as possible and also reinstalling to see if it fixes it but nothing happens if anyone knows a way to fix this would greatly appriceate it.

We don't even know if you're on a mac or pc. That usually is the machine being overwhelmed. It could be a lack of hardware or video files that just don't play well when editing, like phone footage, variable frame rate footage, etc...

Hello @Logan289397024xxj,

Thanks for the message. It’s been a long time since you filed this bug, and I apologize for the lack of a response. Are you still having this issue? If so, the team will need more information from you to reproduce the bug. Can you provide the information required here? How do I write a bug report?

I'll move your post to the Discussions board while we await your information.

Thanks,

Kevin

I'm having a similar problem. I'm on a macbook pro, and been editing on this project for a while now. As of yesterday, it was fine. This morning when I opened it up it was running well, and then began to freeze. I restrted the program and then again the computer and the program, but still the same problem. I then cleared the caches and opened it up, but it is still freezing.

I'm editing with Apple ProRes proxies and the project file is currently around 42MB. Details of the comuter here:

Thanks,

It happen the same with my MacPro. When I open the project the playback works fine, when I start to trim or select a clip to trim everything stop working and no playback. I'm able to move the mouse, save the file and quit but everything else is freeze. I have M2 Pro with 16Gb Ram and Sequoia 15.4.1. Cache deleted, low-res playback and the issue stills there.
