I have but it makes no difference.  The font never loads.

I have the fonts needed selected and setup in TypeKit but it keeps coming up that it can't resolve the Bebas Neue font.  CC Manager shows it is synced though.  I even installed a local copy on the computer directly.

All was working great the other week, now suddenly things are totally messed up and the project was almost complete.

Sometimes the program gets glitzy on the fonts. I had one situation with a font installed in the system that was also synced through the Typekit system that wouldn't work. I uninstalled that from the system, rebooted, and all was well.

Tryed that with a different font later, didn't work.

I know at times signing out of the CC ap and back in has worjed for another.

Past that ... I don't know.

I've pretty much tried all those things too.  Thanks for the suggestions though.

I also installed Premier on another computer, started a new blank project and the Essential Graphics item I was using is having the same issue on the second PC too.  I'm pretty sure something is broken on the Adobe end.  A disconnect between the graphic and the font.  And because it seems to be embedded in the graphic, you aren't able simply change the font.

That error looks like what I see when the CC Desktop is either not running or otherwise having connection problems. Can you get the font you need through CC Desktop app / Assets / Fonts and then try using the mogrt. Or at least 2x check the app in some way to make sure it is connecting to CC production servers.

Thanks for the suggestions.  So I have ensured the CC Desktop management app is running.  I've signed in and out of it several times and rebooted the computer as well.  The fonts do show up under Assets/Fonts but when I go into the MOGRT some of them show fine but some of them (including the one I was using on the video) have a little icon on the left corner showing fonts are missing. (see pic).  This happens on every system I have tested this on Sat, Sun and today.  The font it says is unresolvable is the Bebas Neue font which I show as synced.  So the system then substitutes a large point Times Roman looking font.  There seems to be no way to pick the substitute either.

Thanks for the info (screenshots like that are especially useful). For the sake of further troubleshooting and identifying where the root problem may lie:

Are your synced fonts (like Bebas Neue) usable in other apps, like Photoshop, Illustrator or Microsoft Word?

It shows up but in Word it throws an error "There is insufficient memory or disk space.  Work cannot display the requested font."  There are hundreds of Gigs of free disk space and memory utilization only at 36% of the 16GB the systems are running.

With Photoshop the Bebas Neue font doesn't show up as an available font.  The other typekit fonts are there but it is not.  CC desktop shows it as sync'd.  I even removed it and resync'd it with no change to the results.

It is possible to think you’ve synced the TK font (bebas) and that there is also another version of bebas on your system. In that case, if TK finds another version of that font, it won’t complete the sync. I've had that happen to me and it usually shows a little warning triangle in the CC app that says it was unable to sync (or something like that). This could be part of the problem, if not the whole problem. Please remind me again... are you using a mac or win OS?

I'm using a PC but have also installed and tried on a Mac with the exact same issues.

There is no Bebas Neue font installed on any of the systems I have tested on.  Just the TK font.  No warning for the TK font, it just says Synced.

Ok there may have been some installed mogrts which were exported on a system with a non-typekit version of the same font. The mogrt(s) in question have already been re-exported and integrated into the installer for our next public release. In the meantime, we are working on posting a 'fixed' set of mogrts somewhere that you and other encountering the problem can get them.

I am having the same issue...  Trying to use the essential graphics titles.  All of them contain fonts not on my system, etc.

  1. When trying to resolve the fonts, nothing happens.
  2. The resolve fonts window stays on forever with nothing happening except for the blue barber's progress bar.
  3. When, I click the get files check box, an "invalid conversion" error shows in the events.

I see no way to get to these titles... no matter what I do.  PLEASE HELP.

I guess that with mogrts, the same font used in After Effects by the author who created the mogrt must be installed

on your pc ... if its not, everything gets into chaos as far as I have experienced

now check this out from the amazing Premiere Gal :

If the AE user used a TypeKit font you will be prompted to sync that Font when you apply the mogrt in Pr. If they used a Font that is not TypeKit and not on your system then you will need to get the Font and install it.

As for the "Open MOGRT in Ae" tip, there is a quicker way in Ae 15.1. Go to File > Open Project > point to a .mogrt > click Open > Click Extract when prompted.

I have been having this issue with the "Bebas Neue" and it's driving me nuts. lol

I have done everything above. Even when I extract the file from the .mogrt and turn it into a .aep and open it up in After Effects to see what Premiere "thinks" the font is...it's in the CORRECT Bebas Neue! So then it is like I am screwed and have no idea what it is being switched out for in Premiere during the "essential graphics" translation.

So now I have to make everything in After Effects which defeats the whole purpose of me buying over 80 .mogrt titles to use in Premiere and MANY of them (about 90%) use Bebas Neue. Ughhh. Any ideas?

I'm wondering if this is the problem where some CC app like Illustrator installs with some Typekit fonts in its package/program files but they aren't actually installed on the OS font list.

You're gonna get that need to sync font window but it never can sync. The Adobe info says for unable to sync issues uninstall the fonts from the OS then sync.

But the fonts ARE NOT installed into the OS, so there's nothing you can uninstall.

Remove the fonts from Illustrator, and the refusal to sync still occurs.

James ... any progress on this?

Neil
