I'm SO CLOSE to finishing a project and just discovered that only audio on Track 1 is playing. I've been editing for hours and this just suddenly happened. Earlier today other Audio Tracks (2/3) WERE playing. I had muted a Audio Track 2 earlier to better hear Track 1. However I unmuted that track long ago. Tracks 2 and 3 will not play any sound right now. I deleted audio and replaced it again, no difference. The M - mute buttons on the tracks are NOT selected. I tried selecting them and unselecting them, no change. I closed and restarted Premier, no change. I updated to the latest Premiere (didn't realize I was behind), no change. Nothing is working and all I need to do is keyframe some background music to complete this project. What is going on?
Issue "Fixed". It was a sequence issue. I created a new sequence, copied my entire timeline over, and it works. No idea what the heck happened.

I just tried to export a section of the timeline to see if it was just a playback issue or a full on problem. The exported clip does not have any of the audio that should be on Tracks 2 and 3. Only Track 1 audio!

can you be more specific about the type of sequence issue you had and how you fixed it, please?

I just figured this out too. So start by making a new sequence and when the prompt comes up, click on the "tracks" tab and switch it from "multichannel" to "stereo". For easiest migration to new this new sequence, don't switch any of the vid parameters. Then drag a vid clip from your project into the timeline and when prompted select "change sequence settings to match", it won't change the stereo audio back to multichannel. Then copy your project from the messed up timelene and paste it in the new one.
