Playback Window Grayed out on Premiere Pro.

The Playback window is completely grayed out while working on projects. The audio and the timeline still play normally. I've uninstalled and reinstalled premiere pro and it still doesn't work. I've been in chat with adobe customer care on twitter and nothing they have suggested has worked. It worked perfectly fine and then suddenly one day it stopped working. I haven't been able to find fixes to this particular problem anywhere. I need this program for class.

-WITH exactly what are the codec details of what you are editing?

-WITH what effects are you using with the video?

-WITH the brand/model graphics adapter (ATI or nVidia or ???) and exact driver version

-Do not count on Windows to be fully up to date when it comes to device drivers

-Go to the vendor site to be sure you have an updated driver for your graphic adapter

claytons96628762​: In addition to John's comments above, post a screen shot of the playhead parked on a frame so we can see the blank Program monitor. Even better, double-click the clip to open it in the Source monitor too. (Use the Editing workspace for this.) Make sure we can see the entire height of the timeline so we can see what you've laid down there too.
