Poor quality video when Exporting

Hi I'm having real issues with the quality of my videos which is really frustrating. I've attached screenshots of the export settings - which as far as I can tell are correct. I've also attached images of how it looks when exported - really poor quality esp the captions 😞

You have 2 issues.

Video resolution is of poststamp size. 512x288 is even smaller then regualar SD footage.

Bitrate is pretty low.

Also your video has variable framerate which might cause out of sync with the audio.

To change the resolution:

Reshoot the video at a higher resolution.

The video I have isn't the best quality but I'm confused why the captions have come out in such poor quality?

Is there anyway to change the quality of captions? - unforuntaley I can't change the quality of the video itself as that's what I have been given to work with.

Dont think so, you cannot make anything out of nothing.

MIght want to ask your client for better better/higher resolution footage.
