PP 14.5 Fickle Spacebar & MTS format

Updated PP to 14.5 on my Intel PC Windows 10 Pro.  In addition to the failed drag 'n drop issue, the play/stop function of the spacebar is fickle (intermittent).  I haven't done any forensics, just frustrated that my habit of using the spacebar to begin playing the timeline doesn't work (computer just emits a 'ding' error sounder).

Also, I still cannot import *.mts format files. [Error Message - The file has an unsupported compression type].  C'mon now, wazzup with that?  And I sure don't want to dink around with media caches, file location changes, etc.  Let's just make PP open to *.mts files like earlier versions.

Having the same problem. In addition I can no longer use the plus and minus keys to zoom in and out of the timeline. In fact, most of my shortcuts don't work anymore no matter how I set up the Keyboad Shortcuts in the options.
