Hi Adobe.

When i save a document in Premier Pro the screen goes black (only in the software) and this happens when saving to a network share or a local folder on my PC. The software has been uninstalled/re-installed a number of times (initially this fixed the problem) but the problem still exists.

The software version is 12.0.1

Does it save your project, or does it corrupt the save file?

It corrupts the save file. Once this happens I can close PP, re open and my timeline is blank.

OK.

My guess would be an administrative right issue on the folders you are trying to save to. Maybe someone from IT could make sure that Premiere and you have the correct read/write rights on these folders.

Are you able to save any other file type from other applications on same location where Premiere is crashing?

For the top image, you have no open sequence.  Open one.

For the bottom image, you can Reset to Saved Layout under the Window>Workspace menu.

Damn dude, all your windows are missing.  Every window in the program should be listed under that Window menu.  I'm thinking you might need to try Step 2F below.
