Premiere Crash when using audio FX

2017 glitch of the century. Trying to add many fx to songs and tracks...mostly compressor / reverb to get a boombox effect but crashes before even messing with the settings. Short film, not that big of a project file, all proxy media.

Apologies for the delayed response, I decided not to apply those specific FX but my setup is

-Latest CC

-late 2012 IMAC, 2.9 GHz Intel Core i5, 8gb RAM, El Capitan
