Hello
I have just imported some iPhone footage into Premiere Pro and its all jumpy, it doesn't seem to like it at all.
It was filmed on an iPhone 8 at 1080 HD 30.
I tried importing into an old version of Premiere with the same results.
I've also tried to convert some of the iPhone footage to H264 in Media Encoder and when I import that its exactly the same.
I have filmed around 4 hours of footage overall and its the same on all of it.
I've never had this problem before and I've done this many times.
Any help appreciated
Thanks
Paul
Hi Vidya
It actually turns out that the jumping footage is actually on the original files on my iPhone.
This is a concern of course as I've no idea if that's a problem with the phone.
At least I know it's not a Premiere problem now.
Many thanks
Paul

Hi Paul,
Sorry that you're experiencing trouble with your playback. To corner the issue, transcode the files in https://handbrake.fr/ and see if the playback is smooth.
Let us know the status.
Thanks,
Vidya

Hi Vydia,
I have the same issue. I've just downloaded HandBrake, but I don't know what properties should I change... should I change the enconder? Or what? To what option? I have tried several other things (like uploading to Youtube and then downloading, like converting using onlineconverter or VLC etc) but so far I have accomplished nothing. I've just tied HandBrake and still no results (but maybe I am not changing something I should be changing).
