Happy Holidays Premiere Pro Community! Time again for the Community Digest. This one is for the month of December. The longest night of the year has just past and the holiday season is upon us. I am so grateful for the Adobe digital video and audio community and I want to thank you for being a part of it all in 2021.
Now that December is here, the Premiere Pro product team has created a new version of the application. Have you had a look at some of these cool new features? We'll discuss them further in just a bit.
Happy Holidays Community!
I hope each and every one of you has a wonderful holiday and can spend some time with family and friends. Happy Holidays and Happy New Year. Here's to looking forward to a wonderful 2022. There will be so much coming our way as media creators, that I can guarantee!
The holiday season has officially kicked off, so I hope you can finally take a little rest from the pressures of editing for a few days, at least. I am doing that, for sure! FYI, operations at Adobe will be closed for the Christmas and New Year holiday, from Friday December 24th until Monday January 3rd. Assisted support over chat and phone may be limited at this time, and for that, I apologize and ask for your patience when seeking support. Our forums, of course, are at the ready whenever you need them.
Premiere Pro Community: A look back at November and most of December 2021
No Adobe Video Community Meet-ups were planned for December, but we'll be back in action in January 2022. Stay tuned for updates around plans for future Adobe Video Community Meet-ups after the holidays.
You can still check out recordings of our November meet-ups which encourages Premiere Pro users to get their feet wet in After Effects. Check out "Premiere Pro: AE Makes it FANCY" (Part 1 | Part 2) —for all the details. If you haven't seen them, here's another opportunity for you.
The highlight of the month for December was the Premiere Pro v.22.1.2 update that was just released. A crucial bug fix and a ton of new features were rolled out.
Check out the following video demo of all the new features related to the new graphics and title tools here. You may be surprised at what you might find here! There's also a new video describing performance gains in the new Apple M1 MacBook Pro.

Featured Premiere Pro Community ACP - Jeff Bugbee
Ladies and gentlemen, I present Jeff Bugbee, this month's featured ACP for the Premiere Pro community. I wanted to thank Jeff who has been helping the community since 2015 and has penned 1458 posts with a ton of "Likes" given by users like you. Jeff is a bonafide Premiere Pro brainiac, super personable and always provides great advice. I asked Jeff to share a bit about himself so we can all get to know him a bit better.
"I'm based in Tampa FL and have worked for 15 years at The Home Shopping Network in a TV Operations/Post Production environment. I am currently the HSN Mac Admin in addition to supporting 30+ Adobe CC editors, motion graphic artists, and Art Directors. I first became aquainted with Adobe Premiere with v7.0 in 2003 and never looked back. More recently, however, I realized I enjoyed the technical/troubleshooting side of it more than the creative side. I love helping people (coworkers and strangers alike) with solutions to often frustrating problems.
A lifelong Floridian, I've never lived outside of Florida, but I have travelled a lot. Most recently was my first foray into single digit temperatures at Big Sky Montana (see above image). I'm even a pretty good skier (for a Florida man)!"
Thanks again, Jeff! The Premiere Pro community really appreciates your efforts. Have you ever been helped by Jeff? If so, drop him a line and send him a quick thank you, if you have the time.
