Upon collecting files multiple times, Premiere Pro gives this error.

It's quite disastrous.

But why?

I am experiencing this issue constantly, it looks like what you suggested is merely a tiresome workaround, not a fix - as it requires rebooting quite often.

Easiest fix for me was:
Sign out of CC

Reboot and sign back in.

I disagree with calling a bug a discussion as I found a solution from a 2018 post.
This is a bug and I posted it here hoping it would get to devs.

Hi yash-lucid,

Sorry to hear about this issue. We can get this checked. Are you experiencing this issue with Pr v24.4.1 & are the files saved locally or on a network drive? Also, was the project created in the same version of Premiere Pro or in the previous version?

Thanks,

Sumeet

It's 24.4.1 with files saved locally on SSD, created in same version.

Reboot only didn't work.

Workaround was to sign-out and back into CC, and reboot.
