"Corrupt" footage in Premiere timeline

I'm getting a lot of glitchy footage in my timeline like the screenshot below. It only affects 1 frame in the clip but happens a lot on the timeline. affecting most of the clips I import. The original clips don't have these issues when viewed outside of Premiere. All footage has been filmed on Canon 6D 1080 25fps MOV and imported into a DSLR 1080p25 timeline sequence.

Any ideas on how to stop this happening?

Yeah it does. I've tried a number of different H.264 export settings too. Also used Flicker Removal in the Field Options tab. That works sometimes but not always.

2017 had a bug with compressed audio formats such that a sync error was introduced.  I don't know if 2017.1 corrected that or not.

Export a Cineform file instead of H.264.  Still there?
