Any luck with this? I have a user who is also receiving this error after updating to Adobe Premiere Pro 2023. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling but no luck.

Hi, Jordan,

I can understand the error. It sounds frustrating! Do you have an enterprise or educational installation, or is this a standard Creative Cloud subscription? Let. us know.

Thanks,
Kevin

Hi Kevin, your response is very much appreaciated!

This is an enterprise creative cloud subcription. User updated Adobe Premiere Pro app from the Adobe Creative Cloud app and is now receiving the error. We're kind of stuck here with no luck

Are you the IT rep, Jordan? Enterprise support can help troubleshoot the user's issue. Contact them via your admin dashboard. I did some digging around, and there are solutions based on deleting the media cache. Here are the steps:

  1. Close all projects using File > Close All Projects.
  2. In Media Cache preferences, click the Delete button from "Remove Media Cache."
  3. Choose "Delete All Media Cache (requires restart) in the dialog box."
  4. Premiere Pro closes.
  5. Reopen the application and see if the warning persists.
  6. Allow some time for the media cache to rebuild before editing.

Good luck and let me know what happens.

Thanks,
Kevin

Hey Conrad,

Thanks for the note. There's a faster way to delete media cache now. Press Shift on launching the application. In the Reset Options dialog box, check the box next to "Delete Media Cache." Then, click OK. Does that work for you? Let me know.

Thanks,
Kevin
