Hello,

Start working on a new Mac Studio M2 Max, 96Go, Sonoma 14,2 with Premiere Pro 24.4.1 (build 2).

Simple HD project, mxf files from Sony,  with dualcam project. Dual screen configuration. Media on external hard drive, USB-C.

Render status is all yellow and Render Systeme in the General Project setting is not a option. I tried to import regular Apple Prores HD file, and the render status is still yellow.

Hi boulangég2327294,

A yellow render bar in the timeline indicates that the segment of the sequence does not have a rendered preview file associated with it. Playback will play by rendering each frame just before the CTI reaches it. In most cases, this will result in real-time playback & you won't need to render the sequence. But in case you observe dropped frames during the playback, you can render the segment by selecting Sequence > Render In to Out. Refer to this article to learn more about render bars.

Also, the Renderer option is not switchable by design in Premiere Pro running on Apple Silicon systems. We hope you find the information useful. Let us know if you have any questions.

Note: Moved to the Discussions tab.

Thanks,

Sumeet
