Too much time is being wasted on trouble shooting issues with Premiere Pro 2020. I'm loosing $200 and hr trying to fix this program that should have been tested from the start. Got this over Hit Film thats free.
I've been advising folks to stay on CC2019 (v13.1.5) until a patch is released for CC20 (it's still on v.0). Unless you desperately need the new features, the previous version is way more stable. You can have both installed side-by-side as well.
There are so many people posting about this and I was on the phone with adobe techs for hours doing screen shares, its definitely a CC2020 issue. they told me a update should be coming in early January which in Now! but nothing yet. I was forced to go back to CC2019 where everything worked great. Adobe lets get this together and get your users back on track.
