I don't think serial numbers are used anymore. Just sign in, download the app, and you are good to go.

Interesting,,yesterday Adobe requested an old serial number from 7 years ago for Premiere Pro 1.5.1 before it would allow me to activate Premiere Pro   CS5.5.2 after having to replace Windows i7 64 bit ????????????.

It is now working very well.
