Sony a7siii / FX3 4K DCI footage squashed/scrambled issues

Hello everyone, upgraded my Sonya7siii and shoots 4K DCI at true 24 fps or 23.97 fps.

Importing all of my footages, when not playing the footage (paused, or scrubbing) is squashed/scrambled.

Now, when actually playing the he Preview or Sequence windows, the footage looks fine. It's just when/not playing. The footage also looks fine playing outside of Premiere, with VLC, or other editing software like Reslove or Final cut. Also try creating  proxies using Premiere's default "ProRes Low Resolution Proxy" setting, the footage is completely squashed/scrambled, even when I play the clips outside of Premiere.

Find the exact same issue in the community other post:

https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-discussions/4k-dci-footage-squashed-scrambled-on-intel-m...

So, anyone have the same issue with sony FX3 / a7siii Dci 4k footages??? And hope someone can help me because this is compelety can't edit in premiere because this is affect  the export of the timeline.

---------------------------------

Premiere Version : 24.5 (had tried all other version 23.5 to 24.4.1, same issue)

Platform: Macbook pro 16inch M1 Max chips with OS Sonoma 14.5

HI @shadyyau - Can you check the beta 24.6 to see if you are still experiencing this.  Have you tried holding down shift and selecting the check box to clear cache?  Do you have any third party plugins installed?  Have you tried creating a new project?

Hello @shadyyau ,

I have sent you a One drive link that should be arriving in your email sometime soon.

If any of Jamie's suggestions have not worked out for you or you have not gotten the time to try them out.

You could upload one or two camera files that you are currently having issues with and we will get on this right away and see what we can do to remedy the problem. It is extremely important to us that you be able to work with your camera files so I will focus on this as soon as you can send me the camera files for testing on our end. Thank you and we are always more than happy to help solve these issues .

Hi @jamieclarke , just downlaoded beta 24.6 and still experienced same issue ( as photo insert).

Also just clear the media cache in the setting menu of media cache. And yes, I have some extension third party installed (as photo insert shown).

Hi @shadyyau - Try holding down shift while opening Premiere and selecting the two checkboxes "Reset Plugin Loading Cache", and  "Disable Third Party Plugins". Let us know if that helps.
