I do timelapses quite often and everytime I try to render a timelapse sequence, an error message pops up (like shown in the images) when it tries to render a specific image. It's more like it randomly picks one and refuses to do it's further job. After getting that error, I change e.g. opacity by 1 point and it renders the image flawlessly. Unfortunately, the error pops up not once but, at least, three times while rendering the sequence. I also put an image which shows an error in "events" panel. Where does the problem lie?
I use Intel Core i7-9750H CPU 2.60GHz, GeForce RTX 2060 6 GB and 32GB of DDR4 2666Mhz RAM.
As a test try having all your images for the timelapse in one folder and make sure the filename for each image is in sequential order (001,002,003,004....) Go to Premiere Pro and select Import from the file menu. Find your image sequence folder and select the first image. Then you should see an "Options" button show up. Click the options button and then tick "Image Sequence" and then click import. (apologies if I got a step wrong, but I'm doing this from memory.)

I'm curious the size of your images? Sometimes Premiere Prod has a hard time with very large still photos.

I always resize them to 1920x1080.

Good to know. How are you bringing in your source footage/timelapses? Are you importing each image seperatly or are you importing all your images as an image sequence?

I'm importing the photos by dragging the whole folder from Adobe Bridge, not by importing them as one "image sequence".

Try to convert the jpg-files to .psd instead. Premiere Pro can be temperamental when working with compressed jpg files. Use the File > Scripts > Image Processor in Photoshop to convert the jpg-files to psd-files.

Thanks for the advice, but that didn't solve the problem. It appears that all psd's were imported much quicker than jpg's, but I'm still getting errors.

O.k go to File > Project Settings > Scratch Disks and look to which disk Video Previews point to. When you render previews they will end up on that disk and it should not be C:\ but preferably to another disk. And most important, make sure that you have enough free space on that drive. 10% free space or less will cause issues like this, that the software fails to compile the movie. 10% free space is really minimum.

Why not make the timelaps as an image sequence.
