Hey everyone, this morning I updated my Premiere Pro CC to the new version (2018) but I'm not sure if this issue is a result of that. I've just now noticed as I was going to expand one of the tracks, that scrolling with my mouse over the track was not working. This is extremely frustrating considering that when I work, I have to expand individual tracks at times and leave others collapsed. The only "option" afforded to me is Shift + "+" & "-" which only expands the tracks fully, or collapses them entirely. This is additionally frustrating considering the fact that I'm editing on a laptop and I don't have much space to begin with - so I'm always having to expand individual tracks to work on them.
As far as I can tell, I don't believe that I toggled anything by mistake or clicked on something I wasn't aware of. I was editing as usual and then I came to expand and noticed this issue.
I've been doing mostly after effects work all day so I can't remember if it was functioning normally today after the update, but this issue just happened today - it's been working fine until now.
Please advise since this is an extremely frustrating issue that will make any editing I do take considerably longer and I do not have the luxury of time at the moment.
Adobe changed the behavior: hold down alt then scroll.

Oh great thanks for the fast response. Now is there any option to make it so I don't have to hold down the alt/option key?
If it's unchangeable then I'll just work with it but it would be nice if it could just work without having to hold anything down

Ann Bens, can you move the CTI by scrolling over the timeline?
For me the timeline moves left / right but the CTI does not scroll any longer when hovering over the timeline. I need to hover/scroll over the program monitor (only) now to move the CTI, is that what you are seeing?

Dont quite understand what you mean: cti does not scroll when hovering over the timeline? Hovering does nothing or am i missing something here.
You either grab the cti or scroll the Program Monitor.

Thanks Ann, I must have had a brain freeze on that. Yes, only the timeline moves, just as before...

Alt scroll still isn't working for me - I tried trashing my preferences - shift scroll & ctrl scroll do their job, but alt scroll does nothing - am I the only one experiencing this?

Thanks! Does somebody know if they release a sort of change log where they write down all there changes in using the software?

Unfortunately not: (updated) documentation on the software is a disaster.

Thankyou. Now could please tell me how to reveal individual track 'timelines' as I want to control the speed of a fade from one track up to another using points on each timeline with my pen tool? Thanks

Make sure you have Show Audio Keyframes (timeline wrench) checked and
Show Track keyframes in the header of the timeline.

Holding down alt (or any other button) and scrolling isn't working for me. Shift will expand all tracks but that is not what I need to do?
Is Alt Scroll working to expand an individual track for anyone else to else?

Yes for individual tracks its ALT
SHIFT for all track at the same time.
Timeline scrolling is set in the Preferences/Timeline.
If you hold down CTRL it changes vertical to horizontal or v.v
