Copy Paste Clips to Target Tracks

Since Adobe has decided to disable the track targeting default when pasting clips and enforcing this work around:  https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/using/whats-new/2022-5.html#paste-same-track

My suggestion would be to make this either a Preference option or a drop down menu option (in Clips for ex.)

There is no default Paste to Track setting - you have to assign a custom keystroke. My suggestion, if you had read it, said why not make that a drop down menu option or a preference option?

Yes, of course, you are always unquestionably right. 🙂

Its not a matter of being right, it is a suggestion. It would be practical to have it a setting in a drop down menu, similar to  'Selection Follows Playhead' that could be disabled or enabled without having to hit an extra keystroke.
