We need the ability to read the Timecode when recording audio LTC timecode to the file. Currently I have to use davinci Resolve to read the code. AVID already has this capability.
I'm starting to work with live multicam and it's such a pain spending multiple hours manually syncing because only one of my cameras has dedicated metadata timecode. I want to buy Tentacle Sync devices for LTC, but I can't use it unless I move to Davinci Resolve. I don't want to have to move to another NLE just to save time syncing
This would be helpful for situations where non-*****-able cameras accept LTC on set. To be clear, we want to interpret the timecode recorded as sounds on an audio track into actual timecode which can be applied to the clip.
It’s really important, because I have to do 3 extra steps on another software (resolve) and then import an xml just to sync and edit in premiere. Makes me think if it is worth to edit on premiere, or if I will be easier to just edit on resolve.
Kind of just assumed that PP would have this basic feature and rather shocked that it doesn't. Even more shocking that this ticket has been open for getting on for four years! How much do we pay for CC each month again???
Please add this function in Premiere. This is insane that all other NLEs can do this but Adobe. Use some of that billions of dollars and addd this function. You guys are dinosaurs
With the prominence of mirrorless and dslr cameras (ie LTC timecode input) for multi cam interview/vlogging production and the fact that timecode systems are smaller and cheaper than ever - it’s essential that Premier isn’t left behind. We need the ability to sync LTC timecode natively in Premier. Please don’t make me switch to Resolve……because I will.
Absolutely vital to any multicam sequence at a blue collar level. Even larger productions use Mirrorless or DLSR cameras as B-Cams. What about audio recorders that don't jam timecode too? Super critical.
I honestly feel like Adobe is going to end up like Sears. Once a legend, grown too big and slow to be on the edge of innovation... will eventually get crushed by the new guys.
this is a MUST. We need to be able to sync over audio timecode. So many timecode generators on the market such as the Deity TC-1 and it's crucial for us multicam users. I've been editing in Davinci Resolve for months at this point now because of the need of this workflow.
