Slip edit numerically.

It would be great to be able to slip an edit numerically. Currently, if I only want to slip an edit a few frames I need to zoom in on the timeline and then drag with the Slip Edit tool. Being able to do so numerically would be significantly faster, more efficient and more accurate.

Have you worked with Trim mode for this kind of thing? Just curious.

Thanks but Trim mode doesn't help with slipping footage since the edit itself isn't being changed/moved.

You need to select both the inside trims, using shift-cmd and click. Then once they're selected your nudge keys, or entering a numerical value will slip the edit.

Thanks very much. Yup, that worked. Not at all efficient (to me, anyway). Sadly, inefficient seems to be far too common in Premiere.

I appreciate the reply though. At least I know it CAN be done.
