Can we see how you chose 5x7 dimension. I do not have that size as my printer is different. Install your printer driver if you have not, os you get all the setting you need like borderless printing, and doubelsided.     Do an image size and make your image 5x7 and print at 100%. From your screenshot my best guess is the problem is that the preview is blank.   What happens when you export do you get a blank file?  What OS & Illustrator versions are you using?  What happens if you choose the art and choose object >> rasterize.  Does it export to other file formats. I do not think you are missing anything. As a new feature, there are a few other things needing updates. Best you can do is switch to 3 decimals, but sadly is returning only 2 decimals for me.   You can always manually edit the values by doing an object >> Expand Appearance until this is addressed       They should probably make the default font something in a clean sans serif, and that has opentype fractions, along with an industry-standard color like magenta or cyan for dimensions. The Adobe prerelease would benefit with more people who work fulltime in the industry using Adobe products doing final production work over 8 hours a day.     Feet and inch marks should be in italics, but most regular cuts of fonts do not have one for that. Sounds like your scale strokes and effects setting is doing the exact opposite. Have never heard of that happening, and the setting in the prefs file is as simple as either being a 0 or 1 for the setting inside the code of the prefs file.  I can't see for the life of me how this would happen, can you post a screenshot of before and after and how you are determining this, showing a stroke selected and the stroke panel.    Note both settings should change together here. The location should have been. If it came up blank you likely pulled the wrong version or username. Would be easier if Adobe used the year in the folder name, as that got me in the past, along with 64 bit version folder. Has this always been this way since changing your computer? have you tried resetting your Illustrator prefs?   Did you update your Wacom driver?  Do you have any virus protection software that might be conflicting? Maybe your OOBE is corrupt.   OOBE RESET MAC   Quit the Creative Cloud desktop app  (100% you must do this) The \Users\<user folder>\Library\ is hidden by default for macOS 10.7 and above. Option click on the GO in the mac finder to reveal the Library folder. /Users/<user folder>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE Delete all the files within the OOBE folder, but do not delete the folder itself.       Try booting in safe mode, then go back to normal mode. Looks like normal Illustrator usage to me. Once you select an object in Illustrator, it does not drop the object after you transform it. You need to either: click where no object exists to deselect use Shift Command A    If you had items with fills, you can easily select between different objects by having this setting off.       ... Helps a lot knowing this used to work. I would say either a pref got corrupted in Illustrator or Adobe Cloud, or maybe you installed a newer OS update that is conflicting.     Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner tool to perform a clean reinstall of Illustrator. That will delete your preferences which might be corrupt.     You might save time or get lucky by quitting illustrator and deleting the files in this location PREFS  RESET WIN <OSDisk>\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator <version number> Settings\en_US*\x64\Adobe Illustrator Prefs   On the Mac there are 2 additional locations for the prefs that the key command on startup does not get.. Not sure if Windows follows the same, so hence why the cleaner sometimes fixes issues.    If that does not work you can try. OOBE RESET WIN Quit the Creative Cloud desktop app  (100% you must do this) C:\Users\<user folder>\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE  The AppData folder is hidden in Windows by default.
